Apple is gearing up to welcome spring with a color refresh for various accessories. As reported by MacRumors, the iOS 17.4 code, currently in beta phase, reveals the colors for this season. These colors, as is traditional, should arrive for Apple Watch bands as well as iPhone cases. To a lesser extent, they may also extend to other items like keychains for the AirTag or cases for some iPad models.
Brighter Colors, in Harmony with the Season
As we await their official arrival, alongside iOS 17.4, the color names are Light Blue, a light blue; Ocean Blue, a somewhat darker blue; Pink, pink; Raspberry, likely a more saturated berry color than the previous; Soft Mint, a light mint color; and Sunshine, probably a light yellow. Additionally, two new colors have been revealed in collaboration with Hermes for the Apple Watch bands: Bleu Céleste and Jaune de Naples.
Like every year, these spring colors promise to refresh the appearance of our devices, adding a touch of vivacity and color in keeping with the season. The new colors will also be available for Apple Watch faces that support different color options.
Apple has a tradition of updating the colors of the Apple Watch bands seasonally, and it seems this spring will be no exception. Additionally, it is common for the company to apply these new colors to iPhone cases and, to a lesser extent, iPad cases, so we can coordinate all our devices.
If Apple organizes a spring event this year, which usually takes place towards the end of March, it is likely we will see the new color options then. Otherwise, in addition to the new iPad Pro and new iPad Air, the new shades might be introduced via press release. In any case, new colors are on the horizon.
