Cómo utilizar las listas colaborativas de Apple Music para compartir nuestra música de forma más dinámica

Collaborative playlists on Apple Music transform the way we share and enjoy music with friends, family, and anyone interested in contributing to our musical lists. It's a feature that will enrich our musical discovery in the most fun way possible.

How to use Apple Music's collaborative playlists

Apple Music's collaborative playlists are a way to create playlists where multiple users can add songs. These lists allow everyone to participate by adding, reordering, or even deleting tracks from a specific list. Creating a playlist like this is as easy as following these steps:

  1. Open the Music app on our iPhone or iPad.
  2. Go to Library and in the Playlists section, select an existing list or tap the New list button to select songs and create it.
  3. With the list open, tap the three-dot button at the top right and choose Collaborate.
  4. Here we decide if we want to approve new collaborators or if anyone with the link to the list can contribute, then tap Start Collaborating.
  5. Send the link to the people we want to be part of the list.

Later on, if at any time we want to see the participants, remove someone or copy the list link again, we simply touch the icon now formed by two silhouettes of people. Here we can also generate a QR code to access the list.

Once someone joins the list, they can start adding songs. Each track will include the image of the person who added it. Additionally, when playing a song, we'll see who contributed the track to the list and, if we wish, we can react to each of the tracks with an emoji of our choice.

Collaborative playlists on Apple Music require iOS 17.3, although people with earlier versions of the operating system can also join a shared list, but they won't be able to add or delete songs. All in all, it's a new and very dynamic way to discover and enjoy the music that Apple Music offers us. One in which each of us contributes our bit to a list that we can all listen to whenever we want.
