How to activate the quick watch face change by sliding on our Apple Watch

Cómo activar el cambio rápido de esfera deslizando en nuestro Apple Watch

There's a small detail on the Apple Watch that might have gone unnoticed, but it's actually very convenient: the ability to change the face of our Apple Watch with a simple gesture of sliding our finger from right to left. This feature, which had been removed with the arrival of watchOS 10 last September, is now available again. Let's see how to activate it.

Simplified face change is available again

In previous versions of the Apple Watch operating system, changing the face of our watch was as intuitive and fast as swiping left or right from the edge of the screen. However, because it was easy to change faces unintentionally, Apple modified this behavior, and in watchOS 10, we need a long press before swiping to change the active face.

Now, with the arrival of watchOS 10.2, Apple has found a balance between the old system and the new one. We can decide whether to activate this quick change. How? Just open the Settings app on our Apple Watch, go to Clock, and activate the option to change faces by sliding.

It is interesting to note how, over time, the need to manually change faces has been reduced, especially with the introduction of focus states that modify the active face or shortcuts that have the same capacity. But, it is clear that the option to choose which behavior we want is the most balanced.

Now we have the freedom to personalize how we interact with the small computer we all wear on our wrists. Whether we want a quick and easy change or the assurance that we won't change faces by mistake, the choice is ours.
