Apple Music Replay 2025 is here: this is how to explore our musical trends of the year

Apple Music Replay 2025

We are approaching the end of the year and, just as it is time to reflect on the goals we have managed to achieve during these months, we also get Apple Music Replay 2025, so that we can rediscover our trends throughout the year: favorite artists and most-played songs. This feature has become a tradition for many of us, as it lets us look back and relive a whole year of music, with stats, playlists and interactive experiences that we can easily share. Let’s take a look at what it is and how to access it.

Apple Music Replay 2025: a complete look back at our year in music

Apple has designed Replay 2025 as a space created to celebrate the music that has marked our days, weeks and months. When we go into the dedicated section within Apple Music, we find our personalized summary, where the following stand out:

  • The total minutes we have devoted to music.
  • The artists we have listened to the most throughout the year.
  • Our main genres and the songs that have been in constant rotation.
  • The longest listening streak for a single artist, a curious stat that always comes as a surprise.

This year, Apple has also added three new categories that enrich the experience. The Discovery section shows us the new artists that have made it into our playlist; Loyalty reflects those artists we keep being loyal to year after year; and Comebacks highlights the artists that have come back onto our radar after a period of not listening to them.

How to view Apple Music Replay 2025

To view our Replay 2025 from the iPhone, iPad or Mac, the steps are very simple:

  1. Open the Music app.
  2. Go to the Listen or Home tab.
  3. Scroll slightly down until we find the Replay 2025 block.
  4. Tap the panel to open the full summary, or the playlist to start playing it.

Once inside the panel, we can see different cards with our listening minutes, the number of artists that have spent the year with us, the predominant genres and the songs that have defined the year. Each of these cards lets us instantly play the related songs or playlists, which can turn this nostalgic stats review into a very well-guided listening session.

Apple Music Year-End Charts 2025

Alongside the presentation of Replay, Apple has also released its Apple Music Year-End Charts 2025, which reveal the global trends that have dominated the year on Apple Music (which in 2025 celebrates its 10th anniversary).

The success of ROSÉ and Bruno Mars with the song APT. stands out, topping the global charts, followed by tracks like luther by Kendrick Lamar and SZA. In the Top 100: Sing category, first place has gone to Die With A Smile, by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, confirming that this song has strongly resonated across all the different ways we interact with Apple Music.

These charts also include metrics for the most-read lyrics, Shazam activity, global radio and fitness playlists, which lets us see how music has accompanied millions of people all over the world during 2025.

Apple Music Replay 2025: an experience to explore and share

This year, as part of the experience, Apple has also taken Replay into the physical world with The Replay Gallery at Miami Art Week. An exhibition that aims to turn the most important musical moments of the year into works of art, connecting the digital world with the human emotions that music creates. Artists such as Angel Otero, Calida Rawles, Devon Turnbull, Gabriel Moses and Henry Taylor have taken part in this project, which reflects the power of music to inspire creativity.

Luckily, the most interactive part is still on our devices. Replay 2025 gives us a very complete view of how we have enjoyed music over the last twelve months. And we can share our playlists and achievements with friends, so that all together we can celebrate music.
