Apple has just released the updates for iOS 17.4.1 and iPadOS 17.4.1, which we can now install on our iPhones and iPads. These updates focus on bug fixes as well as various performance improvements. The updates complete the arrival of iOS 17.4 with all its new features and pave the way for the next version of the operating systems for our devices.

A minor update that doesn't go unnoticed

The release of iOS 17.4.1 is especially important to polish some details after the arrival of what we know as the spring update. iOS 17.4 brought new features to the Podcasts app, improvements in security for Siri, and some new Emojis. Now, the .1 version fixes some bugs and smooths the path for iOS 17.5, whose beta should be released this week.

While we await the arrival of macOS 14.4.1, focused on fixing some errors related to USB hubs, Java, Bluetooth, some printers and audio plugins, and a few other details, the iPhone and iPad have already received the necessary corrections.

With these updates, Apple continues to strengthen the stability, security, and functionality of our devices, ensuring that we enjoy the best experience possible. What do we have to do? Open the Settings app, go to General, tap on Software Update, and after tapping Download and Install and waiting a few minutes, enjoy an even more capable iPhone and iPad. It's that easy.
