Although with this third installment Paul King has handed over the reins to Dougal Wilson, who makes his cinematic debut with this film, the style and heart that characterize Paddington seem intact. Wilson faces the challenge of matching the success of the previous films. However, judging by the trailer, it looks like he will indeed succeed.

This time, the story takes Paddington and the Browns to Peru, the homeland of our beloved bear, to visit his Aunt Lucy. But upon arrival, they discover she has disappeared. What follows is thus an epic quest through the lush and vast Amazon, filled with comedic setbacks and situations that could only happen to Paddington.

Alongside the talents of Ben Whishaw, who voices Paddington, Hugh Bonneville (Henry Brown), Madeleine Harris (Judy Brown), Samuel Joslin (Jonathan Brown), and Julie Walters (Mrs. Bird), the cast is enriched with stars such as Antonio Banderas, Olivia Colman, Rachel Zegler, and Emily Mortimer, who replaces Sally Hawkins as the matriarch of the Brown family. And from what we see in the trailer, these actors seem to bring fresh energy to the Paddington universe and enhance the narrative with new comedic possibilities.

Paddington in Peru not only promises to be a delicious, charming, and humorous adventure for the youngest members of the family but also for adults. With its release scheduled for November 8, expectations are high. It seems that once again, this beloved saga will continue to captivate audiences of all ages with a perfect blend of British humor, thrilling adventure, and a tender narrative.
