Between messages, emails and notifications of every kind, it is easy for an important call to go unanswered. Apple has considered exactly this situation and offers us a very useful solution: call-back reminders in the Phone app. This feature prevents us from forgetting to return a call, even when we cannot do so as soon as we notice it.
How to set a call-back reminder
Our iPhone lets us quickly create a reminder whenever we leave a call unanswered. The process is extremely simple and takes place directly in the Phone app. We can do it as follows:
- We open the Phone app on our iPhone.
- We go to the Calls tab and scroll down to the Recents section.
- We swipe left on the call we are interested in, whether missed or not, and tap the blue clock icon.
- We choose between Remind Me in 1 Hour, Remind Me Tonight, Remind Me Tomorrow or Remind Me Later.
If we select the last option, we are taken to an interface where we can customise the date, time and Reminders list in which we want the alert to appear. Whichever option we choose, the iPhone will automatically add the name, phone number and any note we want to include.
How to manage and complete call reminders
Once created, call reminders appear in the Reminders app alongside the rest of our tasks. We can edit them, mark them as completed or make the call immediately from the notification itself by tapping the alert and then the phone icon.
At Hanaringo, as Apple specialists since 2018, we know that these small details make a major difference to our productivity and organisation. That is why, alongside our news and tutorials, we offer personalised training for individuals and companies, with sessions by phone and, when necessary, remote access to the screen so that we can guide each step.
Like many other small details, one of the best things about call reminders is how seamlessly they integrate into the Apple ecosystem. Knowing how easy it is to overlook certain calls at certain times, having a system that reminds us to return an important call is certainly more than useful.
