With our eyes already set on the presentation of the next iPhone 16 Pro, rumors have emerged suggesting the possibility that these devices could come with new and elegant color options. Colors that will breathe fresh air into the design line with tones ranging from classic to distinctive.
New colors for the iPhone 16 Pro
According to what the leaker known as "Majin Bu" has posted on X (formerly Twitter), Apple might be preparing two new color options for its iPhone 16 Pro: "Desert Titanium" and "Titanium Gray".
"Desert Titanium" is described as a more saturated and perhaps darker version of the Gold color we saw on the iPhone 14 Pro in 2022. Meanwhile, "Titanium Gray" would resemble the Space Gray tone that we last enjoyed on the iPhone 6 in 2014. This change in the color palette would mark an interesting return to classic shades, but with a modern twist.
It's important to remember that Apple traditionally has offered its Pro models in four color options, balancing basic options (in black, white, and gold) with more daring ones (such as green, blue, or purple). With the possible inclusion of "Desert Titanium" and "Titanium Gray", some of the current options might disappear, and we would see a readjustment in the color range.
Thus, from the iPhone 15 Pro in Black Titanium, White Titanium, Blue Titanium, and Natural Titanium, we could move to an iPhone 16 Pro in Black Titanium, White Titanium, Desert Titanium, and Titanium Gray. Marking the return of a golden finish that we haven't seen since the launch of the iPhone 14 Pro in 2022.
While these leaks are still to be confirmed, the anticipation over the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro (which will come with a new improved Neural Engine to accommodate all the new AIs of the iOS 18 operating system) continues to grow. Colors play a crucial role in the purchasing decision for many Apple users, and these new options could be a significant factor. As we approach the release date, we look forward to more details that will confirm or expand these possibilities.
