We can use it, for example, for a video call or to record with the Camera app. The stand detects our position and adjusts the angle automatically and smoothly, so we’re always in frame. What stands out here is how easy it is to set up and use. So often with similar accessories, we need a dedicated app, several steps and more than one attempt to get things working. Now, let us walk you through the full setup for the Belkin Auto-Tracking Stand Pro.
First, bring the iPhone close to the base of the stand and tap Connect on the screen. Second, place the iPhone on the stand. That’s it. We open our camera or video call app — including, of course, the native Camera app or FaceTime — and tracking begins automatically. There’s more: if our iPhone is running iOS 26, it can even track us when we’re not using a camera or video call app.
Being able to cook, for instance, while on FaceTime with a friend or relative and have the iPhone constantly facing us is much more impressive than words can express. The device has its own battery — which lasts just over 5 hours in our tests — so we can place our phone anywhere at home. Press the power button and we’re ready to go.
If we decide to use the stand while plugged in, we can enjoy wireless charging for our iPhone of up to 15 watts. In other words, we can use it continuously, call after call, without ever having to think about the battery. And yes, it’s very easy to get into the habit of placing the iPhone on the stand for charging, knowing it will always be perfectly angled for interaction.
