Los AirPods no funcionan en Windows: cómo solucionarlo fácilmente

AirPods actually work really well on Windows. It is true that we achieve greater integration in the Apple ecosystem —for example, when connecting our AirPods to a Mac—, but, as Bluetooth headphones, on our PC we can enjoy excellent sound quality and comfort. And if something goes wrong? Don't worry, we can easily fix it.

Factory settings solve any error

It is rare for AirPods to fail, but sometimes, we may encounter a sporadic cut or a situation that leads us to want to improve the connection and functionality. Fortunately, it is as easy as resetting the headphones and then re-pairing them with our PC. The steps for resetting are as follows:

  1. Place the AirPods in the charging case and close the lid.
  2. Wait 30 seconds.
  3. Open the lid of the case.
  4. Search for Bluetooth in the Windows toolbar and enter its preferences. Select our AirPods and click on Remove device.
  5. With the lid open, hold down the back button of the case until the LED indicator flashes red and then starts to flash white.
  6. Release and close the case.

Once we have reset the headphones, we can reconnect them with our PC. Here it is a good idea to, before doing so, restart the computer to ensure that all processes work properly. Having done this, we follow these steps:

  1. Search for Bluetooth in the Windows toolbar and enter its preferences.
  2. Click on Add Bluetooth or another device.
  3. Select Bluetooth.
  4. Place both headphones in their case and open the lid.
  5. Hold down the button on the case until the LED indicator flashes white.
  6. On the PC select the AirPods.

As simple as that. After the complete restoration of the headphones and having reconnected them again with our computer, we should be able to continue enjoying them as on the first day. A very simple resource that solves any error easily and quickly.
