When it comes to locating an Apple device, we can do it directly from the Find My app. But what if we want to track a suitcase, backpack, car, or something similar? In that case, we need to attach a tracker to the item. It can be an AirTag, Apple’s official one, or a device made by another company that uses the same Find My network.
That’s where Ugreen’s FineTrack and FineTrack Slim come into play: two compact, versatile devices that integrate perfectly with iOS thanks to Apple certification, allowing us to keep track of our belongings at all times.
Full integration with Find My and Apple’s network
The most important feature of these devices is their compatibility with the Find My network, Apple’s distributed system that relies on hundreds of millions of devices around the globe to locate lost items. Ugreen’s offering is built on Apple’s infrastructure, so there’s no need for any extra app. Simply bring the tracker close to the iPhone and follow a few steps to start using it directly from the Find My app. That’s it.
Privacy, as always in the Apple ecosystem, is key. Both devices are certified under Apple’s Find My label, meaning their location —just like with an AirTag— is end-to-end encrypted within the network, and neither Ugreen nor Apple has access to our information.
The certification also enables us to automate separation alerts: if we leave home without our keys or forget our backpack on the train, we’ll receive an immediate alert on our iPhone and/or Apple Watch, so we can act right away. Thanks to the Find My network, we can locate any item even outside Bluetooth range, and all without draining our iPhone’s battery or needing cellular or GPS connections.
FineTrack: a versatile tracker with a replaceable battery
The FineTrack model is the more traditional of the two, with a slightly rounded shape designed to attach easily to a keyring or a backpack thanks to its built-in corner loop.

Its battery, a standard CR2032 coin cell, can last up to 24 months and can be replaced in just thirty seconds. A thoughtful touch: the cover is designed to prevent children from opening it easily, letting us use it with our keys as we normally would, with complete peace of mind.

The FineTrack includes a built-in speaker that reaches up to 80 dB. If we can’t see the item, we can trigger a sound from our iPhone or ask Siri to do it for us. This makes locating any item a matter of seconds, no matter where it is.
FineTrack Slim: ultra-thin design, magnetic charging, and water resistance
If the FineTrack is all about versatility, the FineTrack Slim is clearly focused on design. Its card-like format, just 1.7 mm thick, is made specifically for slipping into a wallet, passport holder, or suitcase without taking up any space.

In this case, the battery is not replaceable, but it is rechargeable. To maintain its ultra-thin profile, it uses a dedicated charging cable included with the tracker, which we can plug into any USB port. Do we need to charge it often? Not really. A single charge can last up to 12 months, and we can check battery level at any time from the Find My app.

Like its larger sibling, the FineTrack Slim also features an 80 dB speaker for sound-based location. It even goes further: with IP68 water resistance, we don’t have to worry about it getting wet. The only caveat here is that due to its extremely compact design, the activation button may require a bit more pressure than expected.
A very complete offering to protect our belongings
With the FineTrack and FineTrack Slim, Ugreen delivers two devices that meet even the highest expectations. Both the classic, sturdy model for keys or backpacks and the ultra-thin, discreet one for wallets and suitcases live up to what we’d expect. The integration with Apple’s Find My network is seamless, ensuring privacy and making daily use simple, convenient, and reliable.
All this comes with the material quality Ugreen is known for, as we’ve seen in the Nexode Power Bank or their 100W GaN fast charger. The latter has just received a second version capable of charging all our most demanding devices at once, thanks to its 500W power output.
Tracking any of our belongings —anywhere, in seconds— is becoming easier than ever. Fully integrated with the Find My network, safeguarding our privacy, and offering us two distinct and complementary form factors, these two trackers stand out.
