Emojis have become a basic part of our communications. We send them as text, use them to add more personality to the messages we send, and we can also turn them into stickers within the Messages app for even more versatile use. Let's talk about it.
How to Use Emojis as Stickers
The incorporation of emojis as stickers in Messages gives us a new dimension of interactivity and personal expression in our communications. These faces or symbols started as just another character, but now we can place them on top of photos, messages, enlarge them, rotate them, and much more. How? With these simple steps:
- Open the Messages app and select or start a conversation.
- Press the emoji button at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the emoji we are interested in and drag it into the conversation. Remember that we have to place the emoji over or next to a sent or received message.
How to Remove Emojis and Stickers from Our Messages
If we decide that a sticker doesn't fit in the context of the conversation, its removal is equally simple. Hold down the emoji and select Sticker Details from the menu that appears. Swipe left on the sticker and confirm its deletion with the trash can button. Finish with Done to resume our conversation.
Remember, also, the recent stickers section, accessible with a simple tap on the "+" button next to the text field. This personal library of animated stickers we've created with our Photos, the Memoji stickers we've created and emojis turned into stickers makes it easy to reuse our favorites, always keeping them available to add that special touch to our conversations.
The ability to use emojis as stickers represents more than just an update; it's an invitation to be more creative and expressive in our communication. With it, emojis take on a new dimension, and, as we can see, getting the most out of it is almost as easy as drag and drop.
